Back to School Giveaway Event!
Sponsored by: Brevard Schools Foundation’s Supply Zone
The Back to School Giveaway Event provides free supplies to families in Brevard County who cannot afford to purchase their own supplies. The event is organized by The Supply Zone for Teachers, a nonprofit resource center that provides free school supplies for teachers to use in high-poverty classrooms in Brevard County.
The 16thannual Back to School Giveaway event will be held on July 27.
Last year 2000 students who qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch program were given new backpacks, school supplies, books, dental screenings and haircuts. This year the goal is to support 2500 students. Help our teachers help these children with their most basic school supplies, with either school supplies or monetary donation.
Please put your school supply donations in the Red Wagon in the Narthex. Checks, made out to “Supply Zone for Teachers”can be put in the collection basket. ECW will be collecting donations until July 14.
